The theme is that I want to express not to be overly addicted to the Internet, and I also want to ridicule those who use vicious language to attack others without knowing anything on the Internet. The source of inspiration is mainly from the situation of covid-19. Everyone can only stay at home for a long time. Relatively speaking, the frequency of using the Internet will be much higher. I want to express what I think through my work. Don’t be addicted to the idea of ​​the Internet. The female star who ended her life in the work has a reference prototype. It is an entertainer-Sulli who I like very much but who has already ended her life due to online violence and depression. She is very young, and her last distress signal to the world is still considered hype. Including the protagonist in my work, although she did not become one of the attackers, her indifference was also part of the cause of her death. Although it cannot be said that this behaviour is wrong, I think it is worthy of reflection. The artist ai Weiwei’s satirical attitude towards everything brought me a lot of thinking. The animation of love, death robots is the work that gave me the prototype of this idea. I first chose the software that I used to draw the final work, then I drew the prototype of my idea on the notebook, and then took pictures in real life for reference. After understanding the different styles of painting, I determined my style of painting. I divided the story into several parts to draw, and finally adjusted the colour and other details, and then added a special scene in the middle of each part, plus sound effects and simple text descriptions. My biggest challenge is time. Because the amount of engineering to complete this work by myself is much larger than I expected. I learned how to make a complete storyboard and character design. Compared with my expected effect, this final work is quite different, but I am quite satisfied. Because in the process of completing this work, I kept adjusting what I had set before, and I kept breaking and challenging. This is the first time I have created a complete animated short film. Although it is still relatively young, I think I have successfully expressed the ideas I want to express, so I still like my work very much.
